Kay Julian

I understand the joy of making a difference and the serious business of leading an organization. So, let’s talk.

I’m one of you and I understand what you’re going through. I work with leaders and change makers every day — listening, supporting and coaching to help them navigate a world I know from years of direct experience. Combining progressive coaching skills with experienced perspectives, I can be a guide through the complex personal and professional demands that come with big goals.

Your positive growth is my mission.

I have been a natural coach for as long as I can recall, providing my full attention, asking the right questions, helping others find their answers and their way forward.  I’ve been a trusted advisor to many, a go-to resource invested in their personal growth and development. Helping people find their path and achieve their goals is highly satisfying especially when I see the positive change ripple through their families, teams, organizations and community.  In my UC Berkeley coach training program, I fine-tuned these skills, expanded my coach toolkit and deepened my ability to support people to achieve the change they desire. I’ve coached leaders and visionaries in non-profit organizations, for-profit companies, entrepreneurs and those in transition.  They appreciate my ability to go beneath the surface and get to the heart of the matter, to discern what has meaning to them — which provides a solid foundation for change. I’ve validated these skills through the rigorous process of becoming credentialed through the International Coach Federation, expanding on my natural skills and advancing my ability to help others.

You will benefit from my in-depth experience as a non-profit executive.

In my senior leadership roles with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, our organization achieved breakthrough results and significant positive impact on the lives of those affected by MS.  With a team of staff and volunteers, I led the vision, strategy, and delivery of services to support 1 million people across the U.S., raised $50 million through events, grants and donations, and affected policy change through state, local & federal advocacy. My accomplishments have been made possible by my ability to work with others to bring out their best.  My background gives me a deep understanding of the day-to-day and long-term challenges of being a leader.  This enables me to better serve clients with a deep commitment to making a better world.
